This event is open to families and their loved ones. The ticket costs $25 per child and adults are welcomed with each ticket. All materials, as well as the sound bowl meditation are included with the cost of admission. By buying a ticket to this event, you can also enjoy full-day admission to the beautiful Kampong garden. Tatiana brings over six years of experience in informal education within museum and garden settings. With a passion for science communication and environmental education, she founded Teachings by Tatiana to merge cultural awareness with hands-on learning. Through nature walks, workshops, and community events, she designs experiences that engage people of all ages, helping them connect with nature through the dual lenses of art and science.
She combines practical skills, scientific knowledge, and environmental awareness to create impactful teachings. Her goal is to provide learners with a well-rounded understanding of plants and the environment, supporting each individual with the knowledge and skills to make a deeper connection to the natural world. Like her students, Tatiana is a life-long learner and is certified in the National Geographic Educator Framework, and a member of the North American Association for Environmental Education.

Alessandra Brochu is the founder of Self Sacred, a holistic health and wellness program for young individuals and their caregivers. Her programs emphasize mental health, personal growth, and introspection. To cultivate emotional intelligence, resilience, and essential life skills, her sessions incorporate yoga, mindfulness, and hands-on learning. Other important topics like body image, communication, and self-expression, are covered offering a comprehensive approach to personal development and well-being.
Alessandra has over 10 years of experience working with children. She has experience in the Montessori, Waldorf, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools education as well as Gymboree Play and Music. As a certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Child Yoga Instructor, Alessandra specializes in trauma-informed yoga, family yoga, and mindfulness. She is also a Child Life Coach, parent coach, state-certified Early Childhood Educator, and continues her studies with the Department of Children and Families. Alessandra has expertise in early childhood development, child psychology, and special needs. She's an active member with organizations such as the American Psychological Association, The Children’s Forum, and Kristi House.
